A lot of bathrooms get stuck in a time warp. The fixtures work fine, the layout is functional - but everything just feels tired and outdated. That was exactly the situation here. The old chrome sliding shower door, beige tile-look flooring, and dated hardware all did their job, but the space had no personality. It felt like a bathroom from 20 years ago.

We came in with a clear plan. New wood-style vinyl plank flooring throughout, a completely new Delta shower unit with matte black trim, and fresh paint to pull it all together. Each piece of that scope was chosen intentionally. Vinyl plank is a smart call for bathrooms - it holds up to moisture, it's durable underfoot, and it reads as high-end without the price tag of hardwood or tile.

The shower swap is where you really feel the difference. Out went the frosted, chrome-framed sliding door that was eating up visual space. In came a clean, clear-glass Delta unit with bold matte black hardware - the header bar, the handle, the shower head mount, all of it in black. That kind of contrast against the white surround and the soft gray walls does a lot of heavy lifting in a small room.

The flooring change alone shifts the whole energy of the space. Going from the old square tile-look vinyl to wide-plank wood-style flooring makes the room feel bigger and more intentional. Pair that with the updated hardware and fresh wall color, and you've got a bathroom that actually feels good to walk into. That's the goal with every bathroom renovation we take on - functional upgrades that also make the space worth showing off.

Small bathrooms are often overlooked when homeowners think about remodeling. But the return on a bathroom renovation - both in daily enjoyment and in home value - is hard to argue with. You don't need a massive footprint to get a result that feels completely different. The right materials and the right execution make all the difference.
